This is one of the few places in the Hadarac Desert where you can rest comfortably. It's near the two small mountains in the middle of the desert.

This is a town that is steadily eroding. The people who had lived here had run out of water, because of a horrible drought over their water source. They had all gone their seperate ways, leaving their belongings behind. Now, many building have holes all over them, and anything left was quickly taken by bandits and others.

| Dry River
This was a once bulging river, thousands of years ago, when the desert was a lush valley. Then, the drought period hit, and everything there died. The river, unable to collect water, for there was none, eventually dried up. It is no longer on the map, but the evidence is still there. Sometimes there's even a small trickle of muddy water.

This is where the Varden was located, back in Eragon's days. Anymore, it's a rest stop for Riders and a home to dwarves. However, it may be needed for it's past services once again, thanks to Draliono and Driax's evil hold on this continent...

This is a small town, though big enough to be pointed out on the map. Orrin's troops came through here when aiding the Varden in the battle against Galbatorix's Empire, back in Eragon's day. Now, it's a peaceful area, with no real significance. (Or maybe I'm just lazy...  )

This is a large city that is bursting with fish. It's no surprise, seeing as how they live near the Alagaesian lake, Tudosten. Though in a rather inconvienent location, many from both Surda and Alagaesia flock here for various delacacies.

This is another large town, right on the border with Alagaesia, due west of Petrovya. Most citizens of Alagaesia must pass through here to gain entrance to Surda. If not, they are considered criminals if caught.

| Reavstone
This is a nice-sized seaport town. They take pride in their marine delicacies, especially lobsters of many origins.

Simply cor convienence to those on the other side of the continent, Dauth is much like Cithri; they take Alagaesian emigrants and tourists through so they are legal in Surda.
